Hayes Muslim Centre is organising an “Marriage Event” in partnership with Coolness of Your Eyes.

We’re planning a respectful marriage event to help practising Muslim brothers and sisters meet potential spouses in a safe, dignified way — working to keep within halal boundaries as far as possible. This is why we are keen to hold the event in religious spaces and trusted community environments.

– **Time:** 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

– **Duration:** 3 hours

– **Venue:** Hayes Muslim Centre

– **Capacity:** 30 practising Muslims (15 sisters, 15 brothers)

– **Ticket:** £30 per person

• Supervised introductions in a halal, structured environment

Participation Process

• Each participant completes a marriage profile

Our aim is to serve the community in a halal, responsible, and respectful way — making it easier for sincere practising Muslims to find compatible spouses while keeping everything within Islamic guidelines.

Event Format

• 1:00 – 1:15 Registration & refreshments

• 1:15 – 1:30 Welcome, format introduction, Imam’s reminder on intention, taqwa and marriage + dua

• 1:30 – 2:00 Table rotations (guided questions + own questions)

• 2:00 – 2:30 1:1 conversations

• 2:30 – 2:45 Wrap-up, coaching offer
